Our Servant Leaders

Pleasant Ridge is led by a plurality of Elders. We strive to follow the New Testament pattern for leadership in the local church by having a plurality of Elders and live that out by practicing Biblical Eldership. The Elders are biblically qualified and seek to glorify God through loving, Spirit enabled, sacrificial ministry.

Mike Bird

Elder

Mike serves as a full time vocational Elder. He oversees a majority of the teaching and preaching at Pleasant Ridge. Mike and his wife Jamie have a one daughter. The Birds joined the Pleasant Ridge family in 2016.

Jerry Maurer

Elder

Jerry serves as one of our Elders. He oversees a majority of the audio/visual at Pleasant Ridge. Jerry and his wife Carrie have 9 children of which many of them are grown and have families of their own. The Mauers joined the Pleasant Ridge family in 2006.

Geff Fisher

Elder

Geff serves as one of our Elders. Geff helps oversees the finances with the fiance committee at Pleasant Ridge as well as teaches one of our Sunday school classes. Geff and his wife Becky have 4 grown children. The Fishers joined the Pleasant Ridge family in 2013.

Allan Mc Guire

Elder

Allan serves as one of our Elders. Allan and his wife Joyce have 5 children. Three of their children are grown of which 1 of them is married. Allan leads one of our Sunday school calsses and leads one of our Ridge Fellowships. He has a passion to make disciples and help people grow in their relationshp with Jesus. The MCGuires joined the Pleasant Ridge family in 2017.
