Our Values

CULTIVATING WORSHIP
We love Jesus.

We celebrate the story of our salvation by singing spiritual songs together.

We point people toward Jesus as the only source of eternal life.

We respond to the truth of the gospel with praise and adoration.

CREATING COMMUNITY
We share life together.

We strive to connect with the unchurched and welcome them into our community.

We study, pray, worship, and live life together.

We share our stories with each other.

LIVING ON MISSION
We love people.

We learn to love others as we learn to love God.

We participate in God’s plan to redeem the earth.

We desire to help those who are hurting and seeking answers to life's difficulties.

Church.

It’s a word that carries different meaning for everyone. Maybe church has been a joyful part of your life or maybe it’s been the source of deep pain. Maybe you’ve never been to a church or you just have your doubts about it.

At Pleasant Ridge Christian Fellowship, regardless of where you’ve been, we want to welcome you right where you’re at…and while you are here, we hope you get to experience the grace and love of Jesus.
What do we believe?
How God's Word Shapes us.

In essentials, unity

We hold to the faith that was once delivered to the Saints. We stand firmly on God's Word and desire for our pracitces to reflect that of the early Christian church. While we are a group of diverse belivers from different backgrounds, we are united on the essentials of the Christian faith. Download our Truths We Treasure to see how God's Word shapes us.

Bearing with one another in love.

In everything, love

The way we live together with our diffrences is by bearing with one another in love (Eph. 4:1-6) If we allow our divisions to become breaches of love and occasions for pride and rivalry, then we will have failed in our calling, and our witness for Christ will be marred.

In all things there must be love. Love is that "which binds everything together in perfect harmony” (Col. 3:14).

May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you a spirit of unity among yourselves as you follow Christ Jesus, so that with one heart and mouth you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God (Rom. 15:5–7).

Allowing room for diffrences.

In non-sssentials, liberty

As Christians we have a lot of differing opinions that are not necessarily doctrinal issues essential to salvation. Many times our opinions and differences come from traditions, or even the way we were raised.

Here at Pleasant Ridge we have decided to set our non-essentials aside and focus on what's important and hold to the core doctrines of the faith.

Questions about our fellowship?
We understand that visiting a church gathering can be a little intimidating and confusing at times and it's hard to get to know a church based on its website. If you have not found answers to specific questions about our gathering, please get in touch with us.
